Ichor (n.) an ethereal fluid flowing through the veins of the gods. 

The Institute for Conscious Origin Research (ICOR) was founded in 2023 by acclaimed Princeton computational physicist, freedom of information advocate, and humanitarian Dr. Morris Walker. 

A chance encounter with an independent journalist on September 9, 2022 led Dr. Walker to discover documented proof of human contact with extraterrestrial life. Rather than ignoring the evidence and following the accepted line of mainstream scientists, Dr. Walker decided to commit the ultimate academic taboo and take the claims seriously. 

Dr. Walker began his own independent research with a small team of like-minded scientists at Princeton University. After being able to reproduce some of the findings of the original experiments recorded in classified files, he knew that this scientific discovery could not be ignored. However, his heterodox approach to research and unambiguous commitment to this bold project was frowned upon by his colleagues. Many other professors, including former friends and close collaborators, began to publicly criticize his work. Some even resorted to petty personal attacks and rumormongering. This experience is not unique to Morris Walker: many whistleblowers and innovators are criticized by their contemporaries, only to be exonerated by history many years later. 

After being pressured by representatives of the Department of Homeland Security, the senior leadership at Princeton decided to remove Dr. Walker from his position, despite his tenure. Rather than fighting the gross accusations in court, Dr. Walker decided to focus on his research and resign from his professorship. Eight scientists from Princeton resigned in solidarity, attesting to Dr. Walker’s character. These brave scientists, despite the accompanying academic stigma, formed the original research group that ultimately became ICOR. The group was formally organized as the Institute for Conscious Origin Research on January 15, 2023.  

ICOR USA is now based in Arizona, with a growing team of thirty-two scientists and experts in various fields of study. Using confidential information from verified government sources as the basis for its study and experimentation, the Institute is leading the world in the field of extraterrestrial research.
